We are tiling professionals. We create innovative products tile installers actually need, based on our decades of experience installing tile in large commercial projects and housing developments.
All of these years have revealed certain trends. Namely, tiles are always getting bigger, and joints are getting smaller. These trends have created huge problems for even the most skilled installers, because of an issue called “lippage”. Lippage is a term which refers to the surface differences in height from one tile to the next tile. It has basically become impossible to create a truly flat, no lippage, floor or wall surface without help from mechanical leveling devices when installing large tiles with small joints. This is especially true for seasoned DIY'ers and growing numbers of non-professional beginners who are taking on tiling projects themselves. We at Acufloor are actually "old school" professional installers and love that there are still others like us, but as an industry we we're no longer dealing with “old school” tiles. The industry needed help.
While there are several mechanical leveling devices available in the market, our mission was to create something better, faster, easier, and less expensive so everyone could produce flat floors and walls. We wanted to create something that accurately applied "best tiling practices" for strong installations, but made installs quicker, easier, and less expensive than all the other systems. We wanted to create products we would actually buy for our own installations.
Mission accomplished. We created products that met all of the criteria we felt were so vital; better, simpler design, faster and more efficient, easier to understand and use, accurate for best practices, and much less expensive per square foot.
With the Acufloor suite of products, it's now simple for professionals, beginners, and DIY’ers to install beautiful tile floors and walls.
A simple leveling system that saves time and money while producing a superior job. Innovative solutions developed by actual installers, for installers.
